Franklin Livingston is an American actor, director, and producer. He has had the pleasure of working on both stage and film. However, his current focus is on film.
Franklin’s attraction to the performing arts developed during his childhood when his mother would tell him stories by imitating radio shows. At age 2 he began accompanying her to music lessons where she taught singing. At the age of 10 Franklin performed for the first time singing and playing a church organ for hundreds of people at his own confirmation service. By the age of 18 he was already a serious musician and performer directing and acting in musicals at his friend’s theatre company
Franklin has studied a multitude of acting techniques at Guildhall School of Music and Drama London, Moscow Arts Theater, New York Film Academy, Atlantic Acting School, the Meisner Studio of Tisch School of the Arts New York of New York University, and Yale University where he received training in acting, filmmaking, and directing as well.
Franklin is a true New Yorker and enjoys exploring the city on foot and via subway absorbing the incomparable diversity of NYC. He loves to engage the local communities in breaking boundaries and building connections. When not on a film set or involved in community development, you will catch Franklin researching the past and the present, cooking, traveling, sightseeing, motorcycling, road tripping through the US, or maybe even jet-skiing.
